Membership is a way to belong to the foundation's community of support. A death-benefit provision for members' families is proposed, subject to formal approval.

01Purpose

Why membership?

Members come together to support the foundation's charitable aims. The proposed scheme also aims to offer a measure of support to a member's family at a very difficult time.

The maximum stated support. The actual amount, if any, depends on the foundation's approved terms.
6-month waiting period
Counted from the effective membership date. The full waiting period must be completed.
Under 60 years of age
The member must be under this age, subject to the approved rules.
Active membership
Membership must be active, with all required payments and approvals in place.
Claim and verification
A claim must be submitted by the nominee and verified by the foundation.
Not insurance. Not guaranteed.
Any support is subject to approved terms and verification. Completing the waiting period does not by itself entitle anyone to a payment.

Any other eligibility requirements and exclusions will be confirmed in the approved terms.

03Waiting period

The 6-month waiting period.

The waiting period starts on your effective membership date and ends on the same date 6 months later (or the last day of that month, if the date does not exist).

04Claims

How a claim is made.

We aim to complete each claim within 45 days of receiving complete documents.

The nominee submits the claim online with the membership ID, the nominee's registered mobile number and a copy of the death certificate, and receives a claim reference.

The foundation verifies the death certificate, the membership status, the waiting period and the age condition.

The foundation contacts the nominee to confirm their bank account details. Bank details are never collected through this website.

After verification, the approved amount is transferred to the nominee's bank account — within 45 days of receiving complete documents.

If more documents are needed, the time is counted from when they are received. The death certificate and nominee details are kept private and are never published.

The online claim form opens once the membership scheme is formally approved. Until then, please contact the foundation.

Who can become a member?
Anyone aged 18 or over who wants to support the foundation's work can apply. The family-support provision applies only to members under 60, subject to the approved rules.
What does membership cost?
The fee is being finalised. Apply now and the foundation will contact you with the confirmed fee and how to pay before anything is charged.
What support could my family receive?
Under the proposed rules, if a member passes away after completing the 6-month waiting period, their nominee may be considered for support of up to ₹2,00,000. A claim must be submitted and verified, and the amount depends on the approved terms.
How does the nominee make a claim?
The nominee submits the claim on this page with the member's membership ID, their own mobile number (as registered) and a copy of the death certificate. After verification, any approved amount is transferred to the nominee's bank account. We aim to complete the process within 45 days of receiving complete documents.
Is this life insurance?
No. Membership is a charitable scheme run by the foundation, not an insurance policy, and support is not guaranteed. If your family needs guaranteed financial protection, we encourage you to also look at life cover from an IRDAI-registered insurer — including low-cost government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), available through your bank. Membership can sit alongside such cover.
Is the payment guaranteed?
No. Completing the waiting period makes a claim eligible for consideration only. Every claim is checked against the rules, and an authorised person records the decision.
When does the waiting period start?
On your effective membership date — the day your membership is activated after your payment is verified and approved. It ends 6 calendar months later. Your membership must stay active throughout.
Why is the family support described as “proposed”?
The foundation is still formally approving the scheme's final rules, funding and legal structure. We will update this page as soon as it is approved. Applying now registers your interest; nothing is activated without your payment and the foundation's approval.
Can I change my nominee later?
Yes. Contact the foundation and we will update your nominee's details. Every change is recorded.
How is my information protected?
Your details and your nominee's are seen only by authorised foundation staff and are never published. Read our privacy policy.
